Car Service Questions, Answered
Eighteen answers about Logan pickups, flight delays, what a ride costs, party bus capacities and how to check our federal licensing. Every one of them resolves in its first sentence.
At a glance
The five things riders settle before they book.
One line each. The full answers, and thirteen more questions, are directly below.
| The question | The short answer |
|---|---|
| My flight is delayed | Your price does not change. We track the inbound and move the pickup with it. |
| Meet me inside, or at the kerb | Either one, and you choose when you book. Meet and greet is easier with luggage or kids. |
| What a ride costs | Quoted per trip, in writing, before you commit. The number on the quote is the number you pay. |
| Buying one seat, not a whole bus | Yes, on our scheduled group outings. Comedy night is $90 a person, bus, ticket, dinner and drinks on board. |
| Whether we are licensed | USDOT 4086308 and MC-1555691, federally authorized to carry passengers, with a 0.0% driver out of service rate. |
Everything else
All eighteen, in full.
Do you track my flight?
Yes, on every airport run, in real time. We watch your inbound and move the pickup with it, so an aircraft that lands ninety minutes late finds a car already waiting rather than one that gave up and left. You get the same treatment on the outbound if a departure slips.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Your price stays exactly what the quote said. Flight tracking is included on every airport transfer and a delay is treated as our scheduling problem rather than a reason to add a line to your bill. Call or text the same number if the airline reroutes you entirely and we will move the whole reservation.
Do you meet me inside the terminal at Logan, or at the curb?
Both, and you choose when you book. Meet and greet puts your chauffeur inside the terminal with your name, which is the easier option with luggage, with kids, or after an overnight flight. Curbside is faster if you travel light and know exactly which door you are walking out of.
Which airports do you serve?
Boston Logan, Manchester Boston Regional, Hanscom Field, and the private aviation terminals. Logan is the run we do more than any other from the Merrimack Valley, Manchester is often the shorter drive if you live north of Haverhill, and we have worked FBO ramps for private departures.
How far ahead should I book an airport car?
A week or two ahead is comfortable, and same day is still worth a phone call. Most airport riders reserve once the flight is booked, which is usually two to fourteen days out. Holiday mornings and the early Monday departures fill first, so those are the ones to lock in as soon as you have the itinerary.
What towns do you serve?
The Merrimack Valley, Greater Boston, and southern New Hampshire, working out of 50 Milk Street in Methuen. That covers Methuen, Lawrence, Andover, North Andover, Haverhill and Lowell in Massachusetts, Salem, Nashua and Manchester in New Hampshire, and Boston itself. Ask about anywhere else in New England, because we run those trips too.
Can you book travel outside New England, or internationally?
Yes, on request. Our own chauffeurs cover the Merrimack Valley, Greater Boston and southern New Hampshire, and for a trip anywhere else in the country or abroad we arrange the car for you. Tell us the city and the dates and we put it together.
How many people fit in a party bus?
Our party buses seat 10, 22 and 50 passengers. Alongside them we run a 38 passenger coach with reclining seats, a 12 passenger Mercedes Sprinter limo, and a 10 passenger stretch limousine. Tell us the head count and we will tell you which vehicle is the right shape for the night.
Can I buy one seat instead of chartering the whole bus?
Yes, on our scheduled group outings. Our comedy night package runs round trip from The Loop in Methuen to a Boston show at $90 per person, and that price covers the bus, the show ticket, dinner, and snacks and soft drinks on board. Everything else on the fleet is chartered by the vehicle.
Is a party bus or limo safe for my kid's prom?
Yes, and you can verify it yourself before you book. Every vehicle carries Massachusetts livery plates, the company holds USDOT 4086308 and MC-1555691 as a federally authorized Motor Carrier of Passengers, and our driver out-of-service rate is 0.0%. Massachusetts law governs what may be on board when passengers are under 21, and our chauffeurs enforce it for the whole trip.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, and every number is public. We hold USDOT 4086308 and MC-1555691, federally authorized as a Motor Carrier of Passengers, with a 0.0% driver out-of-service rate across our roadside inspections. Look all of it up at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov, and note that the DOT and MC numbers are lettered on the limousine door in our own photograph.
What is your designated driver service?
A professional chauffeur drives you in your own vehicle, waits while you are out, and brings you and your car home. You wake up with your car in your own driveway instead of in a lot downtown. Almost nobody else in this market offers it, and it is one of the most useful things we do.
Do you set up corporate accounts?
Yes, with monthly billing. Corporate accounts cover repeat executive travel, roadshows, conference shuttles and airport runs across New England, all on one invoice and one point of contact. We have handled multi stop roadshows through Boston and southern New Hampshire and large corporate summits.
Can you handle the whole wedding, not just the couple?
Yes, the wedding party and the guests, on one timeline. The stretch limousine or an SUV carries the couple, and the 38 passenger coach runs guest shuttles between hotel and ceremony and reception so nobody is standing outside in formalwear waiting for a ride. We build the schedule with your planner before the day.
What does a ride cost?
Pricing is quoted per trip, based on the vehicle, the route, and the hours. Send the details and you get a written quote with the full number on it, and the number on that quote is the number you pay. A delayed flight never moves it, and our scheduled group outings carry a published per seat price instead.
How do I pay, and what if I have to cancel?
Payment and cancellation terms are confirmed in writing on your quote before anything is charged. You will see the vehicle, the schedule, the total, and the cancellation window in the same place, so there is nothing to discover afterward. Plans change constantly in this business, so tell us as early as you can and we will work with you.
Do you provide child seats?
Tell us the ages and the number of children when you request your quote and we will confirm what we can fit for your trip. Massachusetts requires a child restraint until a child is eight years old or 57 inches tall, so it is worth settling before the morning of the flight rather than at the curb. Families travel with us constantly and we would rather plan it with you.
Does El Khourys Valet work restaurants and private events?
Yes. El Khourys Valet is our sister operation, licensed and insured, staffing valet stands for restaurants, function halls, venues and private events. It is the same family and the same phone number, which means one call can cover both the transportation and the parking at the other end of the night.
Who is actually driving?
One of six uniformed chauffeurs, and often the owner himself. Hanna Elkhoury owns El Khourys Transportation and is one of the operators, so the number on this page reaches the person responsible for your ride. That is the whole difference between calling a family business and calling a dispatch queue.
Where to go next
The answer you want may live on its own page.
Airport pickups, group vehicles and the towns we cover each carry far more detail than an accordion entry can hold. If none of it answers your question, the phone is answered around the clock at (978) 802-4011.
Logan, Manchester, Hanscom and the private aviation terminals, each with its own pickup reality, drive time and terminal quirks.
Ten lines of work, from a single executive to fifty people on a party bus, plus designated drivers and valet for your venue.
Every vehicle with its passenger count, luggage capacity and amenities, so you can tell which one fits before you call.
Twelve towns across the Merrimack Valley, Greater Boston and southern New Hampshire, each with its own drive times to Logan and Manchester.
Buy a seat rather than the whole vehicle. Round trip party bus to a Boston comedy show, and more dates as they go on sale.
Call or text at any hour, or send the trip details and a written quote comes back with the vehicle, the schedule and the full number on it.
Tell us where you need to be.
Call or text the owner directly, or book online in about a minute. Flight tracking is included on every airport run, and a delay never costs you extra.
