Privacy Policy

What we collect when you ask for a quote or book a ride, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to remove.

Part one

What we collect

Last updated 4 August 2026.

Who this policy is from

This policy covers El Khourys Transportation, a family owned chauffeur and group transportation company at 50 Milk St, Methuen, MA 01844, and it applies to this website and to the bookings made through it. You can reach us on (978) 802-4011 or at Booking@elkhourystransport.com about anything on this page.

What you give us

Everything in this list comes from you, on a form or on the phone, and we ask for it because we need it to quote the trip and then run it:

  • Your name, phone number and email address.
  • The pickup address, the destination, the date and time, and the passenger count.
  • A flight number where the trip involves an airport, which is what we track so the pickup can move with your inbound.
  • Anything else you tell us in the notes, such as a child seat request, a venue contact, or where to meet inside a terminal.
  • Whether you gave permission for us to text you, which is recorded separately for trip messages and for offers.
  • For corporate accounts, a billing contact and the details needed to invoice you monthly.

Card details are handled by our reservation and payment providers at the moment you pay them. They are not stored on this website.

What the website records on its own

Like any website, ours keeps ordinary server records: an IP address, the browser and device type, which pages were opened, and the site you arrived from. We use those records to keep the site working and to understand which pages people actually read.

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising trackers. Some pages embed a Google map so you can see a town or our base at a glance, and that map is served by Google, which may set its own cookies when it loads. If you would rather it did not, your browser settings control that.

Part two

What we do with it, and who else sees it

How your information is used

  • To work out your quote and send it to you in writing.
  • To schedule the vehicle and give the chauffeur what they need to find you.
  • To contact you about that trip, by phone, by email, and by text where you gave permission.
  • To take payment, and to invoice corporate accounts.
  • To keep the business records we are required to keep for tax, insurance and federal motor carrier purposes.
  • To answer you when you write to us, and to resolve anything that goes wrong.

Who your information is shared with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand it to advertisers or data brokers. It reaches four kinds of recipient and no others:

  • The chauffeur assigned to your trip, who receives the pickup details needed to run it.
  • The companies that run our reservation software, our email delivery and our payment processing, each of which sees only what it needs to perform that job for us.
  • A venue or planner you have asked us to coordinate with, such as a wedding coordinator arranging guest shuttles.
  • A public authority, where the law requires it or where it is necessary to protect somebody's safety.

Text messages

Text permission is asked for separately from everything else and it is never a condition of booking. Trip messages and promotional messages are two separate permissions, and you can hold one without the other. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. Your mobile number and your text permission are not shared with anybody else for their own marketing, at any time, for any reason.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as we need them to run the business and to meet our tax, insurance and federal motor carrier obligations, and they are deleted or stripped of anything identifying once that need has passed. Quote requests that never became a trip are cleared out of the inbox once they are plainly stale.

If you want yours removed sooner, email Booking@elkhourystransport.com and we will tell you what we can remove and what we are required to hold on to.

Part three

Your choices, and how to use them

What you can ask us for

  • A list of what we hold about you.
  • A correction, if something we hold is wrong.
  • Deletion of anything we are not required to keep, which we will action and then confirm to you.
  • An end to text messages, by replying STOP or by telling us.
  • An end to promotional email, by using the unsubscribe link. Messages about a trip you have booked keep coming, because those are how we run your ride.

Write to Booking@elkhourystransport.com or call (978) 802-4011. A person reads it, and we will come back to you.

How your information is protected

This website is served over an encrypted connection, and the systems that hold booking information are reachable only by the people who need them to do the work. We keep what we need and no more, which is the most reliable protection there is. As a Massachusetts company we follow the state's requirements for safeguarding personal information.

Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Children ride with us often, on prom nights and on family airport runs, and in those cases the booking is made by an adult and the details come from them.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use booking information will be flagged to account holders directly rather than left for you to notice.

Tell us where you need to be.

Call or text the owner directly, or book online in about a minute. Flight tracking is included on every airport run, and a delay never costs you extra.
