Proms and special events

Prom and Special Event Transportation

We put your group in a licensed, plated, insured vehicle with a chauffeur who has run prom night before, and we roll out an actual red carpet at the door.

What this is

We roll out an actual red carpet

Prom is the one night a group of seventeen year olds gets to arrive somewhere properly, and the arrival is most of the point. Stretch limousine, Escalade, or a party bus big enough for the whole friend group. The carpet is real and it comes out at the door. The same booking covers quinceaneras, milestone birthdays and any night that deserves a car rather than a lift.

For the parents

The part parents actually care about

Look up USDOT 4086308 at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov before you book anything, including us. You will find active federal passenger authority, MC-1555691, and a 0% driver out of service rate. Then look up whoever else the group is considering. That check takes two minutes and it is the only thing on prom night that is genuinely worth worrying about.

How it runs

How prom night is booked

Most prom bookings come from a parent and a group chat at the same time. Here is the order that works.

01

Settle the head count first

The head count picks the vehicle, and the vehicle picks the price. Ten, twenty two or fifty are the sizes that exist, so land on one before anything else.

02

One parent books it

One name on the reservation, one phone number we call, and one person who knows the pickup time. Groups that split the booking are the ones that lose somebody.

03

We confirm the route with the adult

Pickup address, the school or venue, and where everyone goes afterward. We confirm it with the person who booked, not the group.

04

The carpet comes out at the door

The chauffeur is in a black suit and a red tie, the carpet is laid at the entrance, and the photographs happen before anyone gets in the car.

How to tell a real carrier from a rented van

El Khourys Transportation

  • USDOT 4086308 and MC-1555691, both public and both active, with a 0% driver out of service rate
  • Massachusetts livery plated and insured, with the authority numbers lettered on the stretch itself
  • A professional chauffeur who has run prom night before and stays with the vehicle all evening
  • One adult on the reservation, one number to call, and a confirmed route
  • Party buses at 10, 22 and 50 seats, so the group travels together

A vehicle a group found online

  • No carrier number to check, and often no carrier at all behind the listing
  • Livery plates and passenger insurance assumed rather than shown
  • Whoever is available that night, meeting the group for the first time
  • The booking lives in a group chat, and so does the pickup time
  • One vehicle size, so the group splits and half of it goes missing

Questions

What people ask about proms & special events

Is a party bus or limo safe for my kid's prom?

Check us before you decide. USDOT 4086308 and MC-1555691 are public at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov, our driver out of service rate is 0%, and every vehicle is Massachusetts livery plated and insured. Run the same check on any operator a group brings you.

How many people fit?

Ten in the stretch limousine, and 10, 22 or 50 in the party buses. Settle the head count first, because it decides the vehicle and the vehicle decides the quote.

Who is responsible for the group during the night?

One adult goes on the reservation and that is the person we call and confirm with. The chauffeur stays with the vehicle for the whole booking, and the route is agreed with the adult who booked rather than changed on the night.

Do you really roll out a red carpet?

Yes, a real one, laid at the door when the group arrives. Ask for it when you book so the chauffeur has it on board.

When should we book for prom season?

As soon as the date is announced. May weekends go first across the whole Merrimack Valley, and the larger buses go first of all.
